The head unit or the metal pin provokes a cooling sensation to numb skin. The internal electronic component uses temperature to control the device. The alcohol gel spread across the applicator’s metal surface acts as protection against any potential cold burns or infection at the site of contact. USE INSTRUCTIONS

HOW DO I USE OR APPLY Buy COOLSENSE® PAIN online NUMBING APPLICATOR?

Store the applicator in the freezer for at least an hour before the procedure. Remove the device from the freezer when the temperature on the thermometer is between 0–4°C. If it is cooler than this range, leave it at room temperature. If it is warmer, leave it in the freezer until it is cold enough.

Remove the cap. Set the cap aside and ensure that it is not touching any surface. Lubricate the top of the metal pin with alcohol or another disinfectant.

Place top of metal pin at the injection site for 4–5 seconds. Your patient will feel the numbness setting in. Follow with the main injection.

Before storing the device, ensure there is sufficient liquid for the next usage. Replace the cap and store it in the freezer.
